First time trying to paint an insect on a bigger scale. I was motivated to explore a larger variety of animals so decided to paint a bee, since I like them a lot, finding their structure very harmonious and beautiful to represent.

I had a very clean approach without explosive backgrounds or really detailed and complex elements, in this way, the composition becomes lighter, which meets the very nature of a bee.
