This mural is a portrait of my cat Cookie. Made in 2023, while she was still with us, being 18 years old, was meant to honor her strong presence and importance, not only in my life, but also in my family's life. 

Now, as I write these words, in November 2025, this mural has an even deeper, emotional, and strong meaning. Cookie passed away just days ago, on 28th of october, being 20 years old. I'm, and always have been, grateful to have Cookie by our side. I'm so glad she lived a happy life, full of love and attention, and that we were with her until the very end. We will certainly continue to be, in whatever way that may be. She was never alone and never will be. I spent almost my entire life with Cookie, and used to say that this house will not be the same without her, or that this house isn't this house without Cookie.

At the time I painted the mural this is what I wrote:

This one is a very special mural and it took me about 3 hours to paint.

This piece was made in August, on a summer night in the company of my two great friends and crew mates Neso & Koshy.

Being located in the city center of Maia, with a view to a busy main road, a place that I pass by almost every day, it's the perfect location for such a painting.

In this one, I painted my 18-year-old cat, Cookie! 

Received a lot of positive impressions from all kinds of people, while painting, photographing, and later via Instagram.
Thanks for all the kindness, this specific mural has a special meaning for me, made with lots of love for my one and only cat Cookie :)
