  SELF-PORTRAIT & MOGLI PERSONIFICATION

2020

In the first year college in the Communication Design course at ESAD, one of my first works was this one.

The main objective was to make two self-portrait illustrations in photoshop, the style was up to us.

The first step was to choose an image of a character, real or fictional, created by us or already existing. Then we would have to take a photograph of ourselves, not forgetting the image of the character we chose, as it would be useful in the second phase of the work.

Then we should develop a first illustration in which we had to represent, as faithfully as possible, the elements that made up the original image, without any addition of external elements.

Illustration 2

In the second illustration, using the same photograph, we had to develop an illustration based on a character (real or fictional) of our choice, taking into account his personality.
In this version of the exercise we could include any external elements that, in some way, might emphasize our representation.

My work

The character I chose was Mogli, all because some people have called me Mogli in the past because of my hair, so I figured out it would be a very nice idea to work with!

At the end of this page I included the original photo of me and the Mogli reference to the 2nd illustration.
