Made in March 2019, it was a school photography work I did back in my 11th grade at Soares dos Reis Artistic School.

At the time we had to do photography weeklies to present to the teacher, and each weekly work was supposed to have four photos, with a theme and justification for our options.

We should print our photos and have them in our book with a respective text about the photos.

My work

I took these photos in International Douro Natural Park, in the region of Cascata Faia d'Água Alta, in Bragança, northeast side of Portugal.

In these pictures I decided to portray the idea of the life course, that isn't straight all the time.

I intended to transmit a journey in the direction to the top, which represents the happiness, and to reach it we must cross a lot of obstacles and unforeseen events, but specially with hope and dedication, we can reach what we intend.

The third and last photographs are a bonus, I didn´t include them in the original work because it was supposed to be constituted by only 4 photos, nonetheless, I used those 2 in another work at the time.

Now I decide to put the 6 together since they complement each other very well.

Interesting how now I look back to these times and see how I improved my photography skills, however I decide to post this work here too, it was a great triumph at the time.
