VISUAL IDENTITY FOR A MUSEUM
2022
This was a work developed in Project subject, in the final year of the Communication Design bachelor's degree.
It was defined to create a visual identity for a museum located in our city, Porto. The aim was to create a logotype, social media, the homepage of a website, visit cards, emails, merchandising pieces, etc.
My work
From a list of Porto museums the teacher gave us I chose Centro Português de Fotografia (CPF) a museum specialized in the history of photography in Porto city.
In this page you will see only a tiny part of the work, that is the logotype, being the element that I consider to have the most potential and worth sharing here.
The logo I designed was constituted by the acronyms of the museum (CPF) and its combination intends to form something that resembles a photographic camera. The C represents the body of the camera, the head of the P is the lens and the F intends to give some angle that we can find in the objectives from the common cameras.
