  VISUAL IDENTITY FOR TV SERIES

2021

After choosing a television series for this Project work, in my second college year, Communication Design course at ESAD, there was a lot that we should do.

We should develop:

1. Keyword Scheme

2. Visual Essay - with frames that had any kind of typographic information

3. Crossover - Our Identity on top of an image that we found relevant

4. Word that describes the series designed in a form of image/identity

5. Alphabet

6. Final Credits with the alphabet we developed

My work

The television series I chose was "Your Honor"

Here is the synopsis of the series:

"Adam, the son of a judge, gets entangled in a hit-and-run case which involves a member of a mafia family. As a result, his father tries to cover up his crime, in order to protect him from the law".

Based on the series I started developing my work around the words "Panic", "Shock" and "Drama".

Project developed in October 2021

4. Word/Image

As it was said in the key word scheme, my main word was "Panic", and the objective of this stage of the work was to elaborate our word in a visual way.

I wanted to draw the word panic in a very anxious way, giving the idea of the panic itself, and having a lot of drips to remind the blood of the car accident, notable event in "Your Honor". The declining, descending and crooked appearance refers to the destruction and catastrophe not only in the life of the victim's family but also in Adam, the cause of the other young man's death.

I made this drawing on paper, then scanned it and worked the details digitally.

5. Alphabet

The alphabet follows the same logic as the word, presented before.
