Last weekend in April, I had the opportunity to paint the facade of the century-old Confeitaria do Bolhão.

It was a huge privilege and a pleasure to have artistically represented such an important landmark of one of the oldest establishments in Porto – 130 years of history.

I thank the owner, Mr. José, for his trust and hospitality, considering my proposal worthy of this establishment. I thank Miguel for being present and for also placing his trust in my work, vision, and commitment to this project.

Thank you to everyone who was present and for all the positive feedback I received throughout the process, from the development of the model and the conceptual proposal to the day of the painting.

I should also add that, when it came to painting the mural, everything was done freehand and without the use of stencils! Whether it was the silhouettes of people or the numbers, they were painted entirely freehand.
