REINTERPRETATIONS I
2021/22 • Mixed Styles | ESAD
Here's a great piece of work done for the drawing class at ESAD.
The objective was to create 16 drawings, each drawing should represent the result of a mix between two already existing works from a list of authors given by the teacher.
This mix consists in taking a work and copying it as faithfully as possible, but with the style of the other work in question, being able to also add elements from this second work, then creating a drawing that portrays a work but in the style of another and with some elements of the latter incorporated in a "camouflaged" way, forming an integral part of the final result.
Approach: Mixed Styles
Media: Markers, Fine Tip Pen, Colored Pencils, Watercolor, Gouache, Acrylic, India Ink, Oil Pastel & Dry Pastel
Format: A3
First part done in December 2021 and second one in May 2022
