This Illustrations work, made in ESAD in my second year, was to explore different scenarios, characters, and the two combined by doing reinterpretations of works from some well known artists.

We could choose, in a list given by the professor, a group of artists and choose their work to use as reference. Then we had to reinterpret the original works, chosen by us, focusing on their characters, locations, and painting techniques, respectively. In the end, we should combine some scenarios with characters we've already designed and create our own work.

The work was divided into 4 stages:

1. Exploration of characters with gouache

2. Exploration of scenarios and objects with acrylic

3. Exploration of the style and technique in general

4. Creation of our own illustrations (combining everything explored previously)
